The Department of Communication Studies and the Communication Studies Undergraduate Student Advisory Board collaborated to host "Careers in Communication: Alumni Reflections", an alumni panel and networking event for undergraduate students, on March 4, 2020.
The alumni panel included:

- Kelly Luethje, Financial Planner and Founder, Willow Planning Group
- Marcus Powers, Co-Founder and Chief of Operations, Zipline Brewery
- Kayla Simms, Director of Sales and Client Relations, Midwest Laboratories
- Jenna Thomsen, Director of Training and Technical Assistance, Health Care Association of Nebraska
- Kevin Thor, International Development, Operation Smile
"What an amazing event!" Kathy Castle, professor and director of undergraduate education in the department, said. "Our alumni gave generously of their time to share their experiences and wisdom, and our students got to see the incredible array of career paths they can choose as Communication Studies majors!
