Narrative Nebraska, a research lab led by Jody Koenig Kellas, has created Quar&Tell, a storytelling campaign that uses prompts to enhance communication, promote connection, and improve well-being while social distancing. Family members can tell stories together, record them, and share them on social media with #quarandtell.

Instructions are available in Koenig Kellas's video introduction.

"It is positive, affirmative, interesting, and an excellent example of research in action," Department of Communication Studies professor and chair Dawn O. Braithwaite said.

The lab, part of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, studies the links between storytelling and health and designs narrative-based interventions to improve communication and well-being for individuals and families. More information is avaible on the lab's Facebook and Twitter channels.
