152 antique tractors drove around the state capitol on June 9, thanks to Donelle Moormeier and the Nebraska Antique Farming Association.

Moormeier, staff assistant in the Department of Communication Studies, is the relay coordinator for the Tractor Relay Across Nebraska (TRAN) ride where folks ride their antique tractors the length of the state for ten days in June each year.  Like previous years, 25 tractors traveled across the state to celebrate agriculture and history. In addition, to celebrate Nebraska’s 150th anniversary, Moormeier organized a tractor drive around the state capitol.
