Angela Palmer-Wackerly, Satveer Kaur, and Cassidy Emmerich have been selected by the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center to train rural medical clinics to improve communication between medical assistants and their patients. They were recommended by Caitlyn Wayment, a former student of Palmer-Wackerly’s and BHECN’s American Rescue Plan Act Awards project coordinator.
