Professor Aaron Duncan was awarded the Nebraska Intercollegiate Forensics Association Distinguished Service Award at the state tournament on February 13th, 2016. As an Assistant Professor of Practice in our department, his research focuses on sporting culture, public mythology, and political communication.
He is also the director of UNL’s Speech and Debate program. Under his direction, students have won 25 individual state championships, broken over 100 events at national tournaments, and competed in over 30 final rounds at national tournaments.
